“The gaps in the fossil record are huge and systematic. Even evolutionists are troubled by these gaps. Fossil gaps are evidence against incremental – mutation and natural selection – evolution. In searching the evolutionary literature, there seems to be no adequate mechanism for creatures to evolve over these chasms….Furthermore, gaps in the fossil record are abundant. Gaps occur between invertebrates and vertebrates, especially fish; between fish and amphibians; between amphibians and reptiles; between reptiles and birds and reptiles and mammals; and ultimately between every significant type of creature leading up to human beings.” (Dr. David H. Stone, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering, Michigan Technological University) |
