I don’t even think that most secular astrophysicists believe that the universe or the earth is 12 to 20 billion years old. I think that most still hold onto the 4.5 billion tag mark or more for the earth; who knows about their belief of how old the universe is. And that is a good point; how can science unequivocally show us that the earth is billions of years old, yet not be able to show us in any way evidence to the effect of the earth being only several thousand years old if that was the case? |
