Craig, I made the statement that “The overwhelming majority of scientists know that evolution is a fact.” because I strongly disagree with your statement that there is a quagmire in the evolution community. My views are not based on popular opinion but on the evidence. I also said that I consider the statement, from the 1920’s you posted, that claims evolution didn’t happen because of the lack of transitional fossils, to be meaningless because there have been transitional fossils discovered since then. I consider any statement that claims evolution did not happen to be meaningless, unless there is some type of evidence to support it. Just because someone with an advanced degree makes this claim does not make the theory of evolution any less valid.Scientists are fully aware of the laws of thermodynamics and they know it has nothing to do with evolution. . 2/21/2003 9:53:35 PM
