Craig, You claim there are absolutes and one of your absolutes was, “it is wrong to lie”, in other words it is always wrong to lie. If during World War II, a German family was hiding a Jewish family in their house, and Nazis came to the house and asked if there were any Jews in there, would it have been wrong if someone in the German family lied to the Nazis and said “There aren’t any Jews in here.”? |
