OK, I am just wondering why you think that the method of how we got here is not important? Darwin definitely didn’t bother with the absolute beginning; his theory already had enough just-so stories concerning origin of instincts, a mechanism for the increase of genetic info/complexity, etc. Any more would have let the cat out of the bag for even the most unsuspecting reader: That he was ultimately weaving cunningly devised fables, using half of the truth (natural selection, conservative mechanisms) to sell his materialist philosophy of macro evolution. |
