As far as stellar cosmology is concerned, you might want to explain to me just why John Eddy (High Altitude Observatory, Boulder) had stated concerning the solar neutrino crisis “..given some new and unexpected results to the contrary (of myrs for the Sun), and some time for frantic recalculation and theoretical readjustment, I suspect that we could live with Bishop Ussher’s value for the age of the earth and the sun (6000 yrs). I don’t think we have much in the way of observational evidence in astronomyto conflict with that.” “He (Eddy) concluded that astronomy, as an observational science, can say nothing about the chronology as far back as 4.7 bill yrs.”Geotimes, Sept78 p18 3/21/2003 3:02:28 PM
