Matt; Try randomly rearranging any single series of ones and zeros in the coding on any program on your computer and see what happens. This roughly parallels genetic information’s sensitivity to correct or functional coding. Nothing is gained, and whatever current expression yields results other than neutral or detrimental are dependent upon no more larger genetic/informational disasters happening (which is much higher a probability than anything to the contrary). All balances on a finely sharpened bladefor genetic/info functionality. To believe that this leads to any sort of move towards increased functional info is against basic reason, as well as what all observations in this area would tell us. 3/25/2003 5:31:45 PM
