Craig, were you commenting on my submission? A mutation does not lead to information loss. It leads to a change in the amino acid, which in turn leads to a change in the protein that it codes for. Some changes effect shape of the protein, others do not, and others are overridden by the dominant gene. This does not lead to information increase either. |
