Matt, I think the reason why we have stated as such concerning creation is because of the very point you raise: The intricate interactions and complexity of the living world. This, and the fact that certain irreducible aspects of that living world logically lead us to conclude that special creation seems the most explanatory and viable explanation there is. Since operational science gives us only certain info concerning the possibilities and non-possibilities of nature’s origin, we trust that the One whocreated all has the ability to communicate to His creation via revelation on this point, and has done so. |
