As far as having it both ways; Mr. Lewis is free to examine the world based on his belief system, as are others before him. Your beliefs mold you into what you are. Imagine the shock of learning that your ideology is wrong, would you be able to cope. The same question could be asked of myself. We all need something to believe in. Quotes taken from any one person, whether it is Darwin or LaPlace or Haeckel, should be sent with commentary containing history, and should not be written without context. |
