This web site was put together for several reasons:-

1. I bought some web design software and wanted to build my first ever web site.

2. I have a scientific background, and as a Christian thought I would like to do a site about the Creation versus Evolution debate from a Christian creationist perspective, using scientific arguments to support Creation.

3. I hoped the site might become a resource for Christian to use (with the recommended books, videos and links).

4. I hoped the site might encourage non-Christians to think about the Christian faith.

Please note, I am learning also, so feel free to contradict things in this site or correct me. You can E-mail me from "Contact us" page.

Faith background:-

I attended two Schools that were nominally Christian. At these I learn't about the Bible and Christianity in a general way, but was not aware of people having a faith that involved acceptance of Jesus dying for their wrong doings (sins).

In my teen years I explored in a general way Eastern Religions but did not find fulfillment from my limited searches. Some friends of mine became what was then described as "Born again Christians" and told me about their conversion. Initially I was very skeptical, but after some while noticed genuine changes for the better in their lives. I attended one of their Church services and was invited to make a commitment to Christ, which I did. This is now many years ago, and through the years both God and people in my Church have been of great help in my life.

I now attend a Baptist Church. With respect to the matter of Creation and Evolution, there would probably be a range of beliefs amongst the 200 or so people that attend the Church I go to.

If you are not a Christian and you would like to E-mail me about any questions you may have, you can do so from the "E-MAIL US PAGE" page.    (to top of page).

Educational background:-

1. Honours degree equivalent (M.I.Biol.) in Applied Biology specialising in Microbiology.

2. M.Sc.. in Immunology.

3. Ph.D. My thesis title was "The multiple antibiotic resistance locus in Salmonella from animals".

I have no in depth knowledge of some aspects covered by this web site (such as palaeontology) and have relied on the accuracy of the sources I have quoted. Do feel free to challenge any areas you feel are wrong. (to top of page).
